During the summer months there are twenty midweek rallies to various pubs, where you will see VMCC eligible motorcycles from the early 1900s to the mid 1980s, all within 25 miles of Cheltenham. The venues are chosen for their idyllic location and as nearly all serve bar meals, they are the ideal place to have a pint, something to eat, chat and unwind. The Sunday lunch time Meetings in the summer take us to meet members from other local Sections, and Winter Wanderings take place one Sunday lunchtime a month from October to March. There are also Gatherings on Boxing Day and New Year's Day for those with an iron constitution. The Cotswold Section has many other events during the year with something for everyone, with a series of winter sporting trials and road events. V.M.C.C. Members are also given the opportunity to ride in other competitive events which include Road Racing, Trials, Grass Track and Sprinting.
On Wednesday evenings during the winter months we have many interesting talks and film shows at Chosen Hill Former Pupils Rugby Football Club (RFC), Brookfield Road, Churchdown, Gloucester (talks normally begin around 8.00pm) [click for multimap link]where we also welcome any new members.
